Freelance Hands-On Brand & Creative Leader

For 20+ years across agency and in-house leadership roles, I’ve built integrated strategy and creative that earns attention the honest way. I connect with culture and tell stories people actually care about. Not performative. Not trend-chasing. Work rooted in real human insight, elevated craft, and a clear point of view. Then I scale it into a cohesive brand ecosystem that holds up everywhere, not just in a TV campaign.

I’m especially drawn to disruptor, challenger, and mission-led brands. The ones with something to lose if they can’t prove what makes them different. That’s where I come in. I bring a strategic and creative approach that brings it to life through the product, the brand story, and the customer experience at every touchpoint. From positioning and brand systems to launches, integrated campaigns, social-first content, earned-first activations, creator partnerships, digital innovation, real-world experiences, and design across identity, packaging, and retail. The goal stays the same. Make it feel real. Make it contagious.

Favorite moments include helping lead Domino’s seven-year brand and digital transformation, contributing to 2,000%+ stock growth and 27 consecutive quarters of same-store sales growth. I invented EpicMix™, a digital product that gamified skiing and snowboarding for Vail Resorts. I co-founded the independent boutique agency WorkInProgress. I’ve also partnered with emerging brands to build their stories, ecosystems, and the creative engine they need to scale.

My work has earned top industry honors including a Cannes Lions Titanium Grand Prix and Grand Clios, with leadership recognition from AdAge 40 Under 40 and Business Insider 30 Most Creative Under 30.

Outside of work, you can find me cycling, trail running, hiking, and snowboarding with my wife, two daughters, and two dogs.
