PRODUCT INVENTION inspired by TRAILRUNNING community BEHAVIOR

For intense athletes, like ultra-distance trail runners, traditional sodas give an ideal performance boost – yes sodas, the ones that athletes have been told to stay away from. The only drawback with traditional sodas is that the carbonation can cause discomfort, leaving them burping and cramping their way to the finish line. Only true insiders would let their traditional soda’s flatten overnight.

This where we saw the opportunity for disruption, this is where FLODA® comes in.

All the energy of soda, none of the fizz

Floda is a flat soda that’s formulated with ZERO carbonation, yet still provides peak levels of sugar and caffeine - the perfect combination for endurance. It’s the trail running scene’s new secret weapon for all things distance running. The brand embodies the essence of trail running - raw, pure, and natural, just like the drink itself.

With its unique formula, Floda has all the energy of soda without the discomfort of carbonation, making it an ideal drink for trail runners.

LAUNCHED FLODA 97.5 Miles inTO AN ULTRA RACE FOR MAXIMAL SAMPLING

As a product developed for the most core audience in running, it would be fitting if we launched Floda to runners at one of the most exciting ultra races, the Cocodona 250.

the Satisfy® Running aid station @ COCODONA 250 ultra race

but Don’t take our word

take 2nd place finisher, Aliza Lapierre, talk about floda, unprompted @ Cocodona 250

At Cocodona 250, besides launching at the aid station, we also ran our film on the livestream of the event, where other core runners now demanded FLODA. So we brought it to them across many running events across the USA and Europe.
